While planning our time in Newfoundland I learned about all kinds of extraordinary places many, many hours from St.John’s. Ultimately I owned the truth that I don’t love long drives. Three hours is OK, four hours sucks, and less is always better. So in a very Heather-style trip we didn’t go much past an hour north or south of St. John’s. And we absolutely loved it. Endless little coves, tiny towns, rugged coastlines - it’s all we needed.
