Some of us zip lined. Some saw a maritime aquarium. We all went to the furthest east point in North America, Cape Spear.
We’re less than a week into the trip. Just a few days in really. But we are 3,000+ miles from home and getting an early taste of things. It is pretty shiny. Feels like the honeymoon. Everything is kind of a delight to me right now: Walking to an outdoor pool from our Airbnb with Hazel. Walking to a great coffee shop. Walking so much. Stumbling upon the most amazing tapas restaurant for dinner (Five stars for the “One Eared Goat”). Doing family circuit training in the backyard. Being together, discovering a new place together. Everyone is in good spirits. I’m very happy we’re NOT in NYC. I’m very happy we’re starting in a quiet, beautiful corner of the world, in Canada. Will pointed out that this is the closest we’ll be to home on the entire trip. Such an interesting thought. I leave you with an important question:
