Giddyup Yallingup

We have rolled into our last town in Western Australia. Yallingup. Giddyup it’s a goodie!! Stunning coastline. Amazing trail to the general store and bakery. Views from our deck that really just don’t quit. If I had less energy I’d just sit on the deck from dawn to dusk in complete zen happiness. It’s a tad more everything than Gracetown - more beautiful, more people, more views, more swell, more bougie. But just a tad. I love them both. It’s only 20 minutes north of Gracetown so I drive down for the morning swim :)

This morning Hazel and I walked to the general store and bakery on the amazing trail. We walked right out the back door and through the backyard onto the trail. Dreamy. That is my kind of bakery access. I know bakeries smell good but OMG this one smelled goooooooooooooood. I do love me a pastry :) But I still dream of Parisian croissants. In other news, Hazel loves my hoody as much as I do.

It was full moon when we arrived. This photo sequence is called Moon, Moon, Sun!!!

Look who finished fourth grade today!! If anyone ever wants to know about ‘Homeschool Lite’ I’m pretty sure that’s what we did :) We promptly celebrated by heading to the playground, getting ice cream bars and going boogie boarding.

Look who just retired from being a fourth grade teacher. Hazel offered some “life advice” free of charge today: Mom, don’t become a fourth grade teacher.

I couldn’t get enough of it today. So good. We have had a stunning run of good weather. Even the locals are talking about it.
